We have just completed the brand identity for a new initiative that draws together all of the world’s major literary festivals into one global partnership.

The Word Alliance is a collaboration of eight of the world’s finest literary festivals: Beijing, Berlin, Edinburgh, Melbourne, New York, Saint Malo and Toronto.
The partnership supports and showcases the works of writers, while providing opportunities to enhance each festival’s artistic programme.
Tangent was appointed to create a new brand identity and website for this significant international collaboration, which advocates and endorses freedom of speech through artistic expression.
The brand identity communicates with existing and potential funders and stakeholders, as well as publishers, authors and other parties who are interested in the reach and the depth of international collaboration between partner festivals.
